Bringing Arts into the Classroom

We at P.S.166 believe that the sort of "hands-on" kinesthetic (whole-body) experiences created by consistent use of the Arts (in particular Music and Dance) in the classroom opens neural pathways in the brain, and in general helps students to become more alert, focused, and interested in the overall range of experiences presented in their daily academic environment.
