Using Internet Resources For Classroom Instruction

We at P.S.166 are moving ahead, with classrooms around the world, to take advantage of the exciting opportunities to enrich and enhance the overall academic experience for students at school by utilizing the rich array of resource material available on the Internet. Instructional materials made available through the use of technology, when used properly by a teacher to enhance the study of National Learning Standards for public school education, provide a wonderfully diverse array of knowledge and interaction with the world around us.

Educators are encouraged to "bookmark" and place their favorite sites into separate folders for themselves and their student's use as they tour the many sites linked to from this page.  Favorite Teacher's Resources should go into the Teacher folder, and Favorite Student Sites (kid-oriented sites you will want your students to be able to access for classroom, homework, or library internet research) should go into the Student folder.

Be sure to recommend your top picks for Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, History, Geography and Fine Arts by using the form located on this page, and we'll add them to our listing!
