Our Computer Laboratory is growing and upgrading constantly. A full range of cutting-edge computer skills appropriate to each age group are introduced in this award-winning Program.  We are fortunate to have a permanent on-site Computer Lab Teacher, who along with maintaining the highest standards of excellence possible in the Lab itself, works with students from every grade level (K-5) year-round at Beginning through Advanced Programming and Internet Research methods.

Our School's Band and Chorus Programs are quickly gaining the attention of outside arts programs and professional musicians from within our community, many of whom are dedicating their personal time and energy as Clinicians and Guest Soloists. Musical instruments are provided to children who show interest and dedication. Our highly-acclaimed School Chorus receives weekly instruction from a guest conductor provided through an arrangement with the Julliard School of Music at Lincoln Center.

A thoroughly modernized, spacious and well-lit Dance Studio is available for all students to learn about movement and dance from around the world, as well as our famed Eurythmics Program available to all P.S 166 students. Cultural Partnerships with dance organizations such as the world-renowned Ballet Hispanico provide a unique and enriching opportunity for our children to explore the world of dance.

Our new gymnasium is one of the crowning achievements of our school's recent renovation, and its completion in late 1997 marks the beginning of our school's Centennial Celebration in 1998.

We are very fortunate to have our own on-site fully-staffed cooking kitchen, supervised by a Dietician and a Head Cook. A variety of tasty and sumptious menu items are offered year-round, including various ethnic dishes. Parents and kids alike are allowed input into menu selection, making every child's lunchtime experience an integral part of the many unique learning experiences which enrich our children's education at P.S. 166.
