The
help files are available in various formats. The main (source) format is CHM. All others are derived from it. Not all will be useful in every platform.
Here
are the links with descriptions of what they are and how they can be searched.

Microsoft Compiled Help File format.
One page per help topic.
The most searchable format but is not usable on a Mac <sigh>. When PC users click on this, they
should choose OPEN, if prompted. |

PDF. All help topics as one file. Should be readable anywhere. Use
Adobe Acrobat Reader's find function. |

DOC. Word 95 format. All help topics as one file. Should be readable on any platform
that has MS Word installed. Use
Microsoft Word's find function. |

Rich text format. All help
topics as one file. Should be
readable by any word processor.
