Thanks to the wonderful world of technology and the use of the Internet, parents, students, and guests will be able to stay up to date with classroom news. I hope that you will use this webpage as a resource for helping your child extend their learning outside of the classroom in a fun and meaningful way!

I have the best job in the world. It's so exciting to come to work everyday and be with so many eager and super students. I love their energy and enthusiasm. There's no place else I'd rather teach. PS 166 is the best and second grade is an exciting year of independence and learning adventures for the entire family. I am looking forward to a wonderful year with you and your child.

A very important ingredient in making this year a special one will be the relationship we develop between school and home. I will be in touch in many ways this year asking for your participation and help and will expect calls from you, when and if my assistance is needed. You will also receive an in class hard copy monthly newsletter from me telling about class events, as well as important dates to remember. If you need to reach us please call our main office (212- 687-2829) until 4:00 p.m. during the school year. Our school secretary will take a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. I will use much of this site to post your children's original work, as well as our classroom activities, projects, learning and reminders of upcoming field trip dates . I am delighted that you are visiting. Please come back and see us again!
